Single-line concave marking of express (ICE) train wheels at a temperature of 1,100 °C.
The solution
Integration of a robot-controlled, heat-resistant dot peen marker in the fully automated production line of the wheel rolling mill at Italian train wheel manufacturer Lucchini.
The task
Weighing and marking gas canisters (pressure tanks) with 3 lines of text before painting.
The solution
The special machine weighs the individual canisters and prints all information in three lines on the neck. The depth of marking is set here to ensure optimal legibility even after subsequent painting.
